How Invisalign® Treatment Works
Invisalign aligners are customized to work only with your individual teeth and bite. After a 3D scan of your mouth is taken, Dr. Funk works with Invisalign to create aligners specifically for you.
These aligners apply gentle pressure to your teeth, moving them into their desired position throughout your treatment..
Invisalign doesn’t require any tightenings or wire changes, making treatment a more comfortable experience than traditional braces.
Invisalign starts working immediately, so you can start seeing results in just weeks! Some patients are even able to finish treatment in as little as six months!
Beginning Your Invisalign® Treatment
If Invisalign treatment is right for you, Dr. Funk will start by taking a 3D scan of your mouth. After assessing the scan of your mouth, we will create a custom treatment plan for you.
This treatment plan will be used to craft each of your aligners. Then, it’s time to start working towards that perfect smile!
Life with Invisalign is amazingly simple. Once all of your aligners have been made, you’ll come back to see us for an appointment to get your attachments placed and receive your trays.
While in treatment, you are free to remove your aligners when eating or brushing your teeth. With removable aligners you’re free to eat what you want, when you want it! This allows for more freedom and less pain, all while working toward that perfect smile you deserve.
